Dexterous

Alicia and I finished the first (and only, so far) season of the HBO series Dexter the other night, and it was really superb. Dexter is a serial killer who slices up deserving victims by night and works for the Miami PD as a blood splatter analyst by day. Michael C Hall from Six Feet Under plays Dexter, and although he's very much the star of the show, there's an excellent cast of supporting characters too. It's no surprise that there's lashings of blood, violence and moral ambiguity spattered all over the place, so if you don't like that sort of stuff, you probably won't like it. For those of us with a sliver of darkness inside us, it's delicious stuff. Oh, and the intro sequence and theme song are just brilliant. In fact, I'm humming it now.
