Team Fortress 2 Closer and Closer

Game Informer has a hands-on preview of Team Fortress 2, and it all looks pretty great. The game is part of the second expansion pack for Half-Life 2, which also includes the physics puzzler Portal and HL2: Episode 2, and is due out in the next few months. Well, unless it gets delayed again. TF2 looks like a lot of fun, so I hope there are plenty of well-stocked Australian servers where cel-shaded warriors can kill each other in amusing ways. It's been an awfully long time since I played a multiplayer shooter online with any regularity - the last one I can actually recall is Counter-Strike Source, which is just embarrassing. It would be great to get back into it all with TF2, although it all depends on the number of players and servers though, as you can't join games that aren't being played.
